Bitcoin moved back above $80,000 after a sharp burst of forced buying. Short liquidations across crypto reached $378 million in one hour, accounting for 81% of forced closures during that period. But the rebound came after three sessions in which U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $1.16 billion in withdrawals.
Across 48 one-hour candles, Bitcoin climbs from $77,397 to $80,111, up 3.51%. It holds above support at $75,601, with resistance at $81,131.
That leaves Bitcoin near $80,470, but the price rise alone does not show that spot demand has returned. The liquidation burst shows forced short covering was a major part of the move, while ETF withdrawals across the prior three sessions point the other way. That makes the bounce significant, but not straightforward.
