The Coin Daily uses AI tools as part of its production pipeline. We disclose this clearly because readers should know how the content they read is produced, and because the financial-information vertical is one where methodology transparency matters.

What AI does at The Coin Daily

We use AI tools to assist with:

  • Research and information gathering. AI helps us scan exchange data, on-chain metrics, regulatory filings, press releases, and other primary sources for the information used in our reporting.
  • Drafting. AI produces initial drafts of articles, headlines, and summaries based on the source material above.
  • Production. AI assists with the production of our video content, including script generation, voice synthesis, and the AI presenter that appears in our YouTube videos.
  • Translation and rewriting between formats — for example, turning a video script into a written article.

AI does not select stories without editorial input, decide what to cover, or set our editorial standards.

What humans are responsible for

Every article on The Coin Daily is produced under the editorial oversight of a named human editor, who is accountable for what is published. Editorial responsibility covers:

  • Source verification. Ensuring every factual claim in an article is supported by an identifiable primary source. Source-grounding rules are enforced by the production pipeline before an article goes live, and reviewed editorially.
  • Editorial judgement. Deciding what is newsworthy, what frame the story takes, and what is left out. Editorial direction is set by the named editor; the AI executes within those constraints.
  • Standards compliance. Ensuring articles meet our editorial standards — including the no-investment-advice rule, sponsorship disclosure, and the prohibition on fabricated quotes or invented data.
  • Corrections and removal. When an article needs correcting or has been published in error, the named editor is responsible for issuing a correction or removing the article. Corrections are logged transparently.
  • Accountability. Complaints, correction requests, and questions about any article are routed to the named editor, not to the AI.

The current editor-in-chief is named on our author page.

Synthetic media in our videos

Our YouTube videos use AI-generated visuals and an AI presenter (synthetic voice and avatar). We disclose this on every video upload via YouTube’s altered-or-synthetic-content tool, in the video description, and (where the topic is sensitive) on screen during the video itself.

What we will not do with AI

The Coin Daily will not:

  • Fabricate quotes from real, named people.
  • Invent statistics, prices, on-chain figures, or events that did not happen.
  • Present AI-generated footage of real, named individuals as authentic footage.
  • Give AI an author byline. Bylines belong to named humans.
  • Publish content that has not been reviewed by a named human editor.
  • Use AI to mass-produce thin, scraped, or near-duplicate content for search-ranking purposes.

Why we disclose this

Transparency about AI use is consistent with guidance from major platforms (Google, YouTube), the EU AI Act’s transparency obligations for synthetic content, and the basic principle that readers of news should know how that news was produced.

If you have questions about how a specific article was produced, email the contact form and we will explain.
