Binance processed $4.649 billion in withdrawals between 6 in the morning and 3:30 in the afternoon UTC on November 1, after reopening withdrawals following a $6.3 billion hack. Customers also deposited $1.01 billion during that same 9.5-hour window, leaving net outflows of about $3.64 billion. That net figure matters more than the gross withdrawals: it subtracts funds still entering the exchange and gives a clearer read on how many customers were moving money away overall.

Binance put the net outflow at about 2.1% of the $171 billion in assets it reported before the attack. Founder Changpeng Zhao said withdrawals were concentrated in the first few hours after transfers resumed. The exchange also said it had replaced about 95% of the stolen assets using its own reserves. Those figures show a sharp initial response, but not an exodus on a scale that emptied the platform or halted deposits.

The next useful checkpoint is whether net outflows continue to slow as Binance publishes further recovery updates; the initial rush alone does not establish that customer confidence has fully returned.
