Two DWF Labs-linked firms, DWF Maas and Falcon Digital, are suing BitGo in London’s High Court for $141 million. They say BitGo sold discounted Falcon Finance and ESPORTS tokens before the lock-up ended, even though those deals were meant to keep the tokens off the market for at least 3 months.

The firms say BitGo moved tokens to exchanges about 2 months before the first unlock date. Their case is simple: those lock-ups were supposed to stop early buyers from dumping cheap tokens into the market too soon. If tokens hit exchanges early, that can pressure the price and hurt investors still holding the rest.

That is why DWF Maas and Falcon Digital say they lost value and want damages.

For BitGo, this goes beyond one custody dispute. The case could show how much weight a traditional court gives to token-sale promises that were agreed off-chain, and that matters for how future deals are written, tracked, and enforced.
