NEAR is adding Ondo Finance’s tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs to near.com, giving eligible users access to names like Nvidia, Tesla, and Apple, along with major exchange traded funds, from the same account they already use for digital assets. Rather than asking users to manage separate wallets or switch chains, near.com presents the offering through one account spanning more than 30 networks. In practical terms, that makes tokenized equities easier to reach through a familiar web interface while the blockchain complexity stays in the background.
Ondo has scale behind the rollout. In June, the company said Ondo Stocks had surpassed $1 billion in total value locked and listed more than 430 tokenized stocks and exchange traded funds. For NEAR, the significance here is usability and distribution: tokenized equities are being presented inside a consumer-facing interface, not as a separate workflow for specialist users.
The immediate shift is clear: NEAR and Ondo are packaging tokenized stocks inside a simpler, one-account experience.
