US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds closed their third consecutive week of inflows, taking in $33.79 million between July 20 and July 24, despite a sharp reversal late in the week. That headline number came after 7 straight daily inflow sessions, followed by two sessions of redemptions led by BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust.
BlackRock finished the week with $95.5 million in net outflows, including $202.5 million on July 23 alone, while Grayscale’s GBTC lost $83.7 million over the same period. Those late withdrawals nearly erased the week’s gains, with about $465 million pulled from US spot Bitcoin ETFs across July 23 and July 24.
Even so, the streak held. After absorbing two difficult sessions at the end of the week, the category still finished in positive territory for a third straight week. For now, heavy outflows late in the week were not enough to push US spot Bitcoin ETFs back into a net weekly loss.
