Aave caught attention after a 40,000 Ethereum transfer, worth about $78.7 million, moved from the Aave protocol to Bitfinex. That coincided with Aave climbing above $100, briefly hitting just over $100. The move fueled talk of fresh DeFi momentum, as Aave’s total value locked approached $14.6 billion. But the bigger question is whether that move marks the start of a stronger breakout, or just another test of the $100 level.
Aave’s price action pressed above $100 but couldn’t hold the breakout. Support is marked at $96, resistance at $101.8, and the latest close landed near $98.8.
For now, the cleaner read is this: Aave is back in its range. Bulls need a reclaim above $101.8, while a break below $96 would suggest that post-transfer pop is fading.
