Ondo has brought its Intelligent Portfolios to Solana, making 7 packaged investment products available through Solana wallets and apps for eligible investors outside the United States. Each portfolio is represented by a single token holding a basket of tokenized stocks and exchange traded funds. Smart contracts handle the allocation, fees and scheduled rebalancing, so the product is an investment mix in one wrapper rather than a token tied to just one stock or fund.
3 portfolios use strategies developed by BlackRock for Ondo; the other 4 are designed by Ondo around themes including income, growth and artificial intelligence. BlackRock provides the strategies for Ondo, but does not sponsor or manage the tokens. Ondo says the portfolio range reached more than $40 million in total value locked during its first 4 weeks on Ethereum and BNB Chain. That figure is for the range on those networks, not evidence of Solana uptake.
The distribution angle is the move from single asset tokenization toward packaged allocations that can be accessed through a consumer facing chain and wallet. Solana is another route for holding and moving the tokens, and access remains limited to eligible investors outside the United States.
