Evernorth is taking the Bitcoin treasury-company model and applying it directly to XRP. On Monday, the Nasdaq-listed firm announced a committed equity facility with CF Principal Investments, a Cantor Fitzgerald affiliate, which lets Evernorth raise up to roughly $80 million by issuing just over 5.2 million new Class A shares over time.
But this is not a single XRP megabuy. The facility creates flexibility: proceeds could go toward additional XRP purchases, but also product development or other corporate needs. Evernorth’s CFO, Matt Frymier, framed it as a move to grow and manage the company’s digital asset treasury in a shareholder-friendly way.
The bigger story is not a specific purchase, but the way Evernorth is extending the public-company crypto treasury playbook beyond Bitcoin. The company previously disclosed a 473 million XRP treasury. This new facility could support further accumulation, but only if Evernorth actually draws on the funding and later discloses new XRP buys.
Evernorth announced the deal with XRP down about 0.8% on the day. So, the signal here is not immediate price action. It is growing interest in using XRP as a corporate treasury asset, with clearer confirmation only if Evernorth follows through and reports visible treasury additions.
