US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $228.4 million in net outflows for the week, with BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust making up nearly three-quarters of that total at $165.4 million. Because IBIT is the largest and most closely watched US spot Bitcoin fund, concentrated withdrawals there can carry more weight as a sentiment signal than smaller, scattered redemptions elsewhere in the category. In this case, IBIT accounted for roughly 72% of the week’s total Bitcoin ETF outflows, suggesting some investors used strength after the recent rally to reduce exposure rather than add to it.

The outflows also fit a weaker October stretch, with month-to-date Bitcoin ETF withdrawals running at roughly $615 million. But the picture was not one-way negative. Some funds still attracted fresh money, including Morgan Stanley’s Bitcoin Trust, pointing to selective demand even as overall flows turned negative. So while headlines may focus on price, the flow data show a softer post-rally appetite for Bitcoin ETF exposure.
