Zcash just set a new all-time high above $1,000, capping a run that’s pushed it more than 63 times off its 2024 lows. It is also standing apart from the rest of the privacy-coin space because it now has a US-listed ETF holding more than $400 million. That leaves ZEC at a notable crossover point: a breakout in a hot sector, but with a major access story of its own.
ZEC’s last price is $1,016, breaking above support at $954 and pressing toward resistance at $1,072. Over the last 48 hours, Zcash climbed just over 6%, opening at $957 and closing at these new highs.
That makes the next read on ZEC a little tricky. The ETF gives buyers a clean brokerage route, while the broader privacy-coin rally can lift the whole sector at once, so this move does not come with a neat single-cause explanation. For now, the breakout is strongest where those two currents overlap.
