Binance is widening its role in Kazakhstan beyond running an exchange. The new state-backed deals center on two concrete areas: a possible tenge-linked stablecoin and digital-asset payments, plus a separate push into crypto services tied to the Astana financial center.

The first track runs through Kazakhstan’s digital development ministry and the National Bank. It includes work around a local stablecoin, digital-asset payments, and the legal plumbing around them, including tax and judicial treatment. That matters because it puts Binance inside the country’s effort to build rules and payment rails, not just attract traders.

The other track is investment infrastructure. Under Astana International Financial Centre oversight, Binance and Freedom Finance Global are looking at crypto-as-a-service offerings.

The country has been trying to establish itself as a regulated digital-asset hub. These deals show Binance aligning with that strategy at the policy, payments, and financial-infrastructure level.
