Uniswap’s Uniswap token has surged around 30% in the past week, backed by a structural shift in where protocol trading is happening. The key development is Robinhood Chain, Ethereum based and only live since July, rapidly emerging as one of the most active venues for Uniswap trades. Over the last 7 days, Uniswap handled roughly $5.4 billion to $5.9 billion in volume on Robinhood Chain, at times outpacing its trading even on mainnet Ethereum.
That matters because Uniswap is often repriced when traders see evidence that the protocol itself is being used more heavily, rather than simply moving with the broader market. The recent rally comes as Robinhood Chain apps generated about $2.66 million in 24-hour revenue, with Uniswap activity among the main drivers. For now, Robinhood Chain’s contribution gives a visible reason for Uniswap’s repricing, turning token movement into a signal about shifting DeFi venue dynamics.
