Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF just passed $1 billion in assets, becoming the first Solana-based ETF to clear that mark less than a year after its October NYSE launch. BSOL holds Solana and is set up to stake those tokens on the Solana network, giving investors brokerage-account access to the asset plus staking yield in one listed product.

The key point is how quickly it got there. BSOL reached $1 billion while Solana was still trading in a choppy range, around $105 Friday morning and down more than 3% on the session. That makes the milestone notable because the fund is gathering meaningful scale without a clean breakout in the underlying token.

For the broader category, that matters. It suggests Solana ETF demand is developing beyond launch novelty and that listed access tied to staking can attract assets even when price action is not doing all the work.
