XRP has lost nearly $6 billion in market cap this week, down 6.61%, even as the network logged almost $50 billion in daily transaction volume on October 19. That leaves a clear tension heading into the chart: activity surged, but price has not followed through. Adding to that, ETF flows flipped to $1.84 million in weekly outflows, ending a 13-week inflow streak.
XRP is holding just under $1.30 here, slightly above the $1.271 support and several cents below resistance at $1.3093. Over these 48 hourly candles, price edged up 0.4% off the open, but hasn’t cleared resistance.
What matters here is where that tension is showing up: in price structure. Even after the surge in transaction volume, XRP is still pinned just above $1.27 and remains below $1.30 resistance. So instead of fresh upside confirmation, the market is still stuck in a narrow range.
