Ripple is partnering with Privy, the Stripe-owned wallet infrastructure company, to bring embedded XRP Ledger wallets directly into third-party apps. That means developers can let users access XRPL wallets for assets like XRP and RLUSD inside an app’s existing interface, instead of sending them to a separate wallet setup.

Privy says the integration is also intended to support AI-agent commerce, the x402 payments protocol, and fee sponsorship, where an app can cover blockchain transaction fees on a user’s behalf. The announcement comes after last month’s XRP Ledger security episode. In late September, RippleX released emergency xrpld 3.4.1 software after a critical vulnerability was identified, and the update reportedly bypassed the usual amendment path because of the urgency of the threat.

For users, the change could make wallet access and transactions feel more native inside apps. The next thing to watch is whether developers roll out live XRPL wallet experiences using Privy’s tooling.

Ripple’s Privy partnership is the one to watch as embedded wallets quietly set the next XRPL adoption test.
