Bitwise’s NEAR ETF is now launch-ready after clearing two milestones: the SEC has declared the registration statement effective, and NYSE Arca has approved trading under the ticker NRR. That moves this from filing progress to a product that could debut once Bitwise activates it.

NEAR climbed nearly 6% across this two-day window, opening around $4.58 and closing just below $4.85, but each test of $4.97 stalled out. The latest candle shows NEAR pressing against support at $4.80.

The cleaner read here is that traders have started defining a range around the ETF news: repeated failures near $4.97 show sellers still active, while $4.80 is the level to watch on the downside. So the new signal is not simply that launch progress is real, but that NEAR now needs to break that range before ETF optimism turns into a stronger trend.
