Solana is getting a different kind of prediction market access, regulated sports event contracts reached through blockchain. Agg Market has teamed up with ProphetX, which says it operates as a CFTC-designated contract market and derivatives clearing organization, to make these products available on Solana.
That gives Solana users and developers access to contracts the company says operate under CFTC oversight, through Solana-based rails rather than a standalone crypto-native market. It shifts the pitch from ecosystem partnership to real utility.
Solana’s price pressed support at $98.40 while holding clear resistance at $102.20. Over the last 2 days, candles opened at $104.28 and closed at $99.62, down just over 4%.
The muted price reaction suggests traders are waiting for evidence beyond the announcement. So the next test is adoption: whether developers actually plug these sports event contracts into wallets, apps, and user flows on Solana. Until that shows up in usage, this remains a distribution story rather than a market-moving one. For now, the key signal is integration, not a breakout.
Agg Market and ProphetX putting CFTC-regulated prediction markets onto Solana is the rollout to watch next.
