This is a risk-off tape: most coins are red, with only 23 up and over 130 down out of 246 tracked. Median returns are down -2.23 percent and volatility is scattered, so moves could still flip direction fast, don't expect follow-through after a sharp move.
Let's start with the big-picture setup:
Markets are stressed and breadth is weak, 57 names are up in the last hour, but 130 are down, and dispersion is high. Liquidations are light at 1.73 million dollars across our tracked pairs in the last hour, but funding is leaning negative. Translation: lots of names moving differently, so it's a headline-driven tape rather than a broad trend. The crowd hasn't committed, making this a day to size down risk and not chase heat.
On the scoreboard, the majors all caught losses:
Bitcoin leads the board, down -1.25 percent. The outliers are even worse: HYPE shed -4.97 percent, PUMP -5.87 percent, TAO -6.89 percent, Bitcoin Cash -9.28 percent, and ZEC -10.01 percent. The takeaway is clear: downside is dominating, and some high-fliers are unwinding faster than the rest.
Uniswap is our first tension setup:
Uniswap slipped 10.71 percent over the past two days but is now firming up inside a range, trading at 6.1609. Price and open interest have been moving in opposite directions. Active resistance comes in at 6.1755, with support stacked at 6.15 just below the current price. Watch for either break, a move through 6.1755 would improve the near-term tone, while a loss of 6.15 puts the range lows back in play. Above that, 7.4831 remains the higher structural resistance. With volatility in the 84th percentile, this tape is prone to fakeouts, quick moves likely if either boundary gives.
On the positioning front, ZEC stands out:
ZEC dropped 9.76 percent, the steepest on the board, and open interest plunged 19.23 percent in a day. That means positions unwound hard as price broke down. It's stuck in a range now, trading around 1,098, with active support at 1,011.07. If that level breaks, watch for more momentum down; if it holds, expect chop. Funding remains positive, so there's no evidence yet of a crowded short.
For volatility, Polkadot is the wild card:
Polkadot is the most volatile name today, in the 95th percentile, and it's actually up 5.29 percent. It's trending up, printing 1.1626, with resistance at 1.25 just overhead and support at 1.1599 right below. This sets up for sharp candles and possible breakouts, but also quick reversals if support doesn't hold.
Bitcoin for the deep cut:
Bitcoin's stuck in a small range, trading at 77,233, flickering just above its key level of 77,227. There's a tiny breakout target at 77,461 and a hold target lower at 77,110, so it's a tight box. No real trending push, this is a spot where patience pays, and fake moves are likely until you see a convincing break in either direction.
One last watch name: Bitcoin Cash took a bigger hit than most:
Bitcoin Cash is down -9.13 percent on the day, sliding from 258.71 to 226.77, with active support at 225 and resistance just overhead at 226.82. Funding is sharply negative: traders are positioned for more downside, but with price sitting on support, there's room for a squeeze if that gets snapped back. The risk is new momentum if 225 breaks, but until then, this is vulnerable to sharp intraday swings either way.
The levels that matter
Before we go, the levels that matter today.
Watch support: ZEC at 1,011, Bitcoin Cash at 225, TAO at 235, these are the lines that traders are defending right now. Lose them, and the next leg down opens up.
It's a selectively volatile day in crypto: most coins are dropping, but some outliers are finding their own direction. Pick your levels and mind the fakeouts, this isn't a market to force trades.
